We also provide specialised and tertiary services across Sussex and parts of the South East, including neuroscience, arterial vascular surgery, neonatology, specialised paediatric, cardiac, cancer, renal, infectious diseases and HIV medicine services. Our vision ‘Excellent care, every time’ is at the heart of all that that we do - we pride ourselves in putting the compassionate care of patients first and foremost.
Our journey has started and we are excited about the opportunities for clinical services to be arranged in a very different way across Sussex, enabled by our Patient First ethos which shapes our values and gives structure to our improvement and performance management. Our shared sense of purpose, commitment to investing in and developing our workforce; and focus on the continuous improvement pursuit of excellent care, every time, for our patients underpins all that we do.
This is an exciting time to join us as our new Chief Medical Officer as we work with staff and patients on the development of our clinical service strategies.
